People Are The Stories

It’s about the stories

On the campaign trail this week, I met Treadwell CDB hemp farmers; citizens with erosion issues; a tax economist; a former political candidate; produce farmers from Sunsational Farms; numerous campaign strategists; friends who politically challenge me and people I asked to watch my computer as I go check if a charging space is available for my electric car which when I got back turned into a conversation on the impact of growth in Lake County.

As a candidate, I feel I have a legitimate purpose to meet people which parallels with my human nature of connecting with others.

So, why meet people? Why reach out to them? Why begin a conversation with a stranger? Why spend time listening to their concerns?

I think simply – because people are the stories.
